A SHSM program is a focus program. Students can focus on a career path that matches their skills, interests and talents while earning their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with a “Specialist” Designation. Students benefit from getting many certifications and participating in PBL (Project In OCDSB we have over 20 SHSM (focus) programs at 26 High Schools across the city.

The Social Justice: Non-Profit SHSM combines classwork with experiential learning in areas such as health, social development, arts, sports and recreation, and the environment. Students in the non-profit sector are committed to making a difference and will develop their skills in leading organizations of the future.
