Transportation

Starting September 2025, OSTA’s school board passes will no longer use PRESTO. Ottawa’s four public school boards will provide unified school board passes to eligible students in OC Transpo’s urban transit area.

This means there is no longer any registration required! Lost cards can be replaced by speaking with your school’s administrative staff.

Students in grade 9, can pick these up at Orientation Day on August 29th.

Students in grade 10-12, can come in on August 26 or 27th to get their pass.

The card replacement process for students who lose or damage their cards has changed. All students must go to their school’s main office to request a replacement school board pass.

School administrators can provide first time replacements for students. After this, they must send an application to OSTA to receive further replacement cards.

Students are responsible for their own transportation if they lose their pass.

If a student loses their pass more than 5 times, OSTA will consult with their school before issuing further replacements. Please take good care of your school board pass!
