This February, King’s will be hosting a
virtual essay writing workshop open to all high school students. In this webinar, students will learn how to write an academic essay. This is an excellent opportunity for keen students who are interested in King’s academic programs and want to get a sense of what they are like.
The webinar is scheduled for Sunday, February 18 at 4 p.m. Atlantic.
Following the webinar, King’s will be hosting an
essay contest for
grade 12 students. Students are asked to write a 1000-word academic essay on a piece of literature of their choice to answer the following question:
How has a particular work of literature informed your understanding of the world today? The winner will have their essay posted to the King’s website, receive their FYP books for free, and bragging rights! The deadline for the contest is
Monday, March 18. If you or your students have any questions, please direct them to:
[email protected].
And finally, King’s is bringing back
