About Our School
Glebe Collegiate Institute (Glebe CI), located in the beautiful Glebe neighbourhood, has developed a rich tradition over its history. In accordance with its motto, “In alta tende”, its students “strive for the heights” and have acquired national and international recognition. Glebe CI has approximately 1,700 students and is the OCDSB's largest school.
The first students came to Glebe in the fall of 1922. The school was officially opened in May of 1923. We held a celebration of 100 years of Glebe in October, 2022.
